The Space
A 2 BHK .residence designed with minimal civil changes, while introducing structural modifications in the kitchen to improve functionality and flow. The rest of the home retains its original layout, with thoughtful design interventions enhancing usability and aesthetics. The updated kitchen layout allows for better planning, efficient movement, and optimized storage, resulting in a home that feels practical, balanced, and tailored to everyday living
Client Requirement
The client wanted an open kitchen to create a more open and interactive living space.For the kids’ room, despite its compact size, the requirement was to accommodate a bunk bed, a dedicated space for a piano, and ample storage, without compromising movement and functionality for their daughter.The overall design language of the home reflects the client’s preference for vibrant colours and playful pops of colour, adding character and energy to the spaces while maintaining visual balance.Taking advantage of the stunning view from the balcony, the client proposed a seating provision near the window.
Accordingly, a cozy, space-efficient seating arrangement was designed by the window, allowing the family to fully enjoy the view while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.
The Result
The final outcome is a vibrant, thoughtfully planned home where imaginative design meets purposeful planning..The extensive use of curves softens the interiors, giving the spaces a fluid and welcoming character, while the bold and vibrant colour palette adds energy and individuality to each room.
Smart design interventions—such as the open kitchen, the efficiently planned kids’ room with a bunk bed, piano space, and ample storage, and the pod-style seating in the master bedroom—ensure that even compact areas feel purposeful and comfortable.
Every inch of the home has been carefully considered, resulting in a space that feels dynamic yet balanced, expressive yet practical, and perfectly aligned with the client’s lifestyle.

The house is designed with a strong emphasis on fluid forms and expressive detailing, with curves used extensively to soften the spaces and create a sense of movement. A palette of vibrant colours is layered thoughtfully across the house, bringing energy, character, and a playful charm to each room. Together, the curved elements and bold colour choices give every space a distinct personality, resulting in interiors that feel dynamic, lively, and visually engaging.

It has been a great journey. When we purchased the house, we wanted to turn it into our dream home. We spent a lot of time and energy to achieve this, so it was important for us to have a design with clean lines and pleasing colors. We chose Sapna, who did a fantastic job designing our dream home, and we are extremely happy with the results.
