The Space
This project was a large-scale residential renovation where the existing space was structurally sound but heavily loaded and visually dated. During the first site visit, the home stood out for its generous layout, multiple pockets, balcony access, and strong natural light, offering significant scope for design intervention.
Client Requirement
The client envisioned a low-maintenance, warm, and welcoming home suited for frequent guests and everyday family living. With working professionals, senior-citizen parents, and a school-going child, the brief focused on creating a comfortable, calm, and cozy environment that supports all age groups. The design was to feel decent, inviting, and emotionally comforting, balancing functionality with a homely, lived-in warmth.
