The Space
The Builder's layout was simple and regular one to begin with. We made a few necessary civil changes to improve how the space works. The focus was on using the available area more efficiently through practical and well-planned alterations. Each change was made with purpose, resulting in a space that feels more functional, open, and easy to use.
Client Requirement
The clients wanted a vibrant and playful space with multiple colours, patterns, and unique shapes throughout the home. Every wall was thoughtfully designed and treated as a feature element. Ample storage was a key requirement, with dedicated space for everything to keep the home organised despite their busy lifestyle. Easy maintenance was also an important priority.
Design Thinking
The design follows a clean and minimal style with a warm and calming feel. Curves and soft flowing forms are used throughout the house to make the spaces feel more smooth and connected. Glass and mirrors have been thoughtfully added to bring in more light, create depth, and make the home feel open and airy.
Hear it From the Owner
We are Apeksha & Amit Gala, an anesthetist and a Urosurgeon. It was pure destiny that we met our designer, Sapna.
While staying in the same building, my daughter and I were in the elevator when it stopped on her floor by chance. We were immediately mesmerized by the beautiful entrance to her house. Although we were hesitant to knock on a stranger's door, Sapna was incredibly warm and welcomed us in for a home tour. Seeing the heart and soul she poured into her own space created an immediate "trust factor". We felt so confident in her talent that we never even considered seeking a second opinion. We had zero knowledge of design, but Sapna took our basic ideas and elevated them with her finesse, expertise, and attention to intricate details. Despite our busy professional schedules, the design team was always accommodating. Even when we sent messages late at night with concerns or changes, they ensured our voices were heard and that we were comfortable with how the house was shaping up. We were deeply impressed by the execution team. They maintained a positive, smiling attitude even when working until 2:00 AM to bring our vision to life. Every corner of this house from the kitchen and dining area to the balcony- feels like a blessing. The final result has exceeded the original dreams we had for our home.
