The Space
Originally a 2 BHK with a 750 sq. ft. carpet area, the layout was thoughtfully converted into a spacious 1 BHK, while retaining the flexibility to be reconverted into a 2 BHK whenever required.This planning approach allowed for larger living spaces, along with enhanced wardrobe capacity and additional storage solutions.
The design focuses on adaptability, comfort, and efficient use of space, ensuring the home remains practical for both present needs and future requirements.
Client Requirement
A primary expectation from the client was flexibility, with the layout needing to be planned in a way that allows for easy conversion back into a 2 BHK whenever required. The client also sought larger, more open living spaces, improved wardrobe areas, and additional storage solutions. To maintain a sense of timelessness and comfort, a calm, neutral colour palette was preferred, ensuring the home feels light, airy, and understated.
The Result
The final outcome feels elevated, warm, and impactful, creating a home with a strong yet inviting vibe.The use of rich veneers and marble flooring adds depth and sophistication, while retaining the original layout ensures a natural flow throughout the space.
Redesigned washrooms enhance the overall experience, bringing in a fresh and contemporary touch.
Each bedroom carries its own distinct character, allowing every space to feel personal and thoughtfully crafted, yet seamlessly connected to the rest of the home.
The result is a well-balanced, refined interior that feels luxurious, cohesive, and effortlessly comfortable to live in.
Design Thinking
The overall colour palette was kept neutral and subtle, with only 3–4 tones used consistently across the entire home to maintain visual harmony.Every inch of the space was carefully planned and utilized, ensuring no area was left unused.A strong emphasis was placed on smart storage solutions, seamlessly integrated into the design to enhance functionality without compromising on aesthetics.The result is a calm, clutter-free home that feels spacious, balanced, and thoughtfully designed.

I came across Lifeskapes by Sapna Jain on Instagram while randomly browsing for interior ideas. Their work instantly caught my eye – clean, well-balanced designs with a nice mix of modern and traditional elements.
